Sunday Sermon, The Rev. Winnie Varghese,

"The Breath of Life

"In the land of the free, you are not guaranteed your breath." The Rev. Winnie Varghese examines our quest for breath and Genesis 1, where we first see God's creating, liberating breath of life. She reminds us: "The story of Jesus demands we notice how power works in our communities." Watch the sermon. The readings are Genesis 1:1—2:4a, Psalm 8, 2 Corinthians 13:11–13, and Matthew 28:16-20.
