‘No expendable people in this country’

Last week Bishop Robert Wright participated in A Cry To God Together: Lament In The Midst of Covid-19 hosted by the Absalom Jones Center for Racial Healing. Dr. Catherine Meeks, Executive Director of the Absalom Jones Center for Racial Healing, and a panel of faith leaders and a medical professional discussed the connection between systemic racism and COVID-19 vulnerability. This webinar was part of a three-part series exploring the public cry to God regarding the loss of lives and livelihood during this pandemic.
